The Art & Science of Sound
August, 14th & 15th 2012 at Marygrove College
The 2012 conference co-hosted by Marygrove College’s Institute for Arts Infused Education and the Science Department, will explore The Art and Science of Sound. The intensive will examine a variety of topics including the anatomy & physiology of sound, musical composition with unusual instruments, and the acoustics of physical space. Educators, artists and educational administrators will learn ways to bring science to life in classrooms through arts infused education using dance, music, theatre and the visual arts.
