Part 2: The Singing Piano and the Harmony of the Spheres

Fludd did not actually call this piece “The Triumph of Harmony.” I don’t think he had a name for it. It appears in the image above in a tiny window. I transcribed it and taught my students to play it for a recorder ensemble piece. We used soprano, alto, tenor and bass recorders; but you could easily get by with soprano and alto–though it’s really nice to have the tenor. You could also use other instruments, if you wish.
